Questions, answered.
What clients and lawyers can expect from LawyersPH.
Is LawyersPH a law firm?+
LawyersPH is a directory and practice-support platform. Any engagement for legal services is with the chosen lawyer or law office, under separately agreed terms.
How should I choose a lawyer?+
Review the lawyer's stated practice areas, location and professional sources. Ask about availability, possible conflicts, relevant experience, fees and scope before engaging.
Does a directory entry certify current good standing?+
No. A register match and professional-source check support the listing, but do not certify current disciplinary status, continuous practice or personal account ownership.
Are corporate counsel available for private consultations?+
An in-house affiliation alone does not establish private availability. Look for a separately stated law-office role and confirm availability directly.
Can I book or pay for a consultation here?+
Online booking and payments have not launched. Use an explicitly published consultation email, such as the one on Atty. Daiza's microsite, to inquire.
How much will my lawyer charge?+
Ask the lawyer for a written scope and fee arrangement. Acceptance fees, professional fees and reimbursable expenses should be explained separately. Platform subscription prices are not consultation fees.
Should I send confidential documents through the public website?+
For initial inquiries, provide only basic contact information and a brief non-confidential description. Ask the lawyer which secure channel to use for documents.
Can lawyers request corrections?+
Yes. Email [email protected] with the profile name, requested correction and a supporting professional source. Do not email passwords or identity documents unless a secure verification process is agreed.
Do online consultations automatically earn ULAS credits?+
No. LawyersPH does not currently claim ULAS accreditation or automatic credit recognition. Eligibility and reporting depend on applicable official rules.
Can I use e-notary services now?+
LawyersPH does not currently provide electronic notarization. The feature remains in the roadmap.
Are subscriptions available now?+
No. The Pricing page contains proposed packages for review; it does not accept payments.
