LawyersPH.com Privacy Policy
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how LawyersPH.com handles personal information about website visitors, clients seeking legal services, lawyers listed in our directory, lawyer subscribers, authorized staff and people whose information is processed through our services.
"LawyersPH," "we," "us" and "our" refer to the platform operator identified above.
2. Our role and the lawyer's role
We determine how personal information is used for platform administration, directory publication, inquiries, subscriptions and security.
A lawyer or law office independently determines how information is used for legal representation, conflict checks and professional obligations. Where we provide a private workspace solely on that lawyer's instructions, we may act as a personal information processor under a separate agreement.
A directory listing, consultation inquiry or platform subscription does not by itself establish a lawyer-client relationship.
3. Information we collect
Depending on the service used, we may process:
- Visitors and prospective clients: name, contact details, inquiry subject, message content and usage data.
- Lawyers and subscribers: name, Roll of Attorneys number, contact details, professional information, billing data and usage data.
- All users: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, referring URLs and interaction logs.

5. Sharing personal information
We share personal information only as necessary:
- With service providers (hosting, payment processing, analytics) under data processing agreements.
- With lawyers or law offices when you submit a consultation inquiry directed to them.
- With regulators, courts or law enforcement when required by law.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as necessary for the purpose collected, or as required by law. Directory listings are retained while a subscription is active and for a reasonable period after termination. Inquiry records and usage logs are retained for 10 years, or as otherwise required by applicable law.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
